Those 453 years have gone fast, haven’t they? Hard to believe it’s time again for the Annual Shakespeare’s Birthday Sonnet Slam in New York’s Central Park, set for April 21.

The seventh annual free outdoor slam will feature Broadway stars including three-time Tony Award nominee Kate Burton and Emmy winner Richard Thomas. The two actors are currently featured on Broadway in Present Laughter and The Little Foxes, respectively. The slam, which will include readings of all 154 Shakespeare sonnets, runs 1-3 PM rain or shine at the Naumburg Bandshell, near the park’s East 72nd Street entrance.
