The lead singer from the chart-topping British pop group will take over the role of Miss Dozer in May.

Faye Tozer, best known as one of the lead singers from the '90s British pop group Steps, will take over the role of Miss Hedge in the West End production of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie May 6–August 3.

A recent finalist on Strictly Come Dancing, Tozer made her stage debut in a 2004 U.K. tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tell Me On A Sunday. She also headlined a U.K. tour of Me and My Girl and starred as Eva Cassidy in Over the Rainbow, The Eva Cassidy Story. In 2017, Tozer reunited with Steps to release their latest album Tears on the Dancefloor, which reached #1 on the U.K. pop charts.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie currently stars Layton Williams (Jamie New), Alex Anstey (Laika Virgin), Luke Baker (Dean Paxton), Courtney Bowman (Fatimah), Marlon G Day (Dad), Momar Diagne, Zahra Jones (Becca), James Gillan (Tray Sophisticay), Ryan Hughes (Mickey), Daniel Jacob (Sandra Bollock), Melissa Jacques, Emily Kenwright (Vicki), Sejal Keshwala (Ray), Luke Latchman (Sayid), Jordan Laviniere (Cy), Rebecca McKinnis (Margaret New), Harriet Payne (Bex), Sabrina Sandhu (Pritti Pasha), and Ziggy Tyler Taylor (Levi), as well as swings Marvyn Charles, Rachel Price Biancha Szynal, and Adam Taylor.

Based on the 2011 documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16, Everybody's Talking About Jamie centers on a young aspiring drag queen who overcomes prejudice to step into the spotlight. The musical features music by The Feeling lead singer and songwriter Dan Gillespie Sells and a book and lyrics by Tom MacRae.
